CIANI : What do you think your biggest advantage is going into this fight?
JENNA : Alright now Sergio, to most people’s accounts you haven’t really lost a fight since you lost to Antonio Margarito earlier in your career.
MARTINEZ : Well I fought a very close fight against Paul Williams. You know everybody saw that fight and I saw the same fight and I feel the same way as everybody feels. Yes, he did lose that fight. I believe 110% in the WBC. Hopefully if this fight happens he shows up, and he doesn’t no-show me. You know history shows all my rivals that I’ve fought haven’t been the same, you know from Bunema, Kermit Cintron, Paul Williams.
JENNA : Sergio from what you’re saying some fans might actually get the impression that you’re underestimating Darren Barker.
MARTINEZ : I never underestimate any of my fighters. I take all my fighters very seriously and all my fights. I’m ranked number two pound-for-pound in the world, and my job is to continue to become the best and to have a great fight for my fans. Yeah that’s definitely a possibility.
JENNA : Okay now you mentioned Mayweather’s opponent Victor Ortiz.
MARTINEZ : Yeah Ortiz has the ability to make a great fight, but I believe Mayweather will win the fight with ease and he’ll be victorious.

I am just severely sick and tired of HBO’s announcing bias announcing crew. So here’s my rant on HBO’s show last night, where, if I had it on mute, it would have been great.
In what ruined a great show, was the announcing team of HBO, this time it was the more annoying presence of Max Kellerman that was ranting about his “thoughts” that he states as fact. First, Chris Arreola was scheduled to fight club level Brian Minto in a comeback for Arreola, after losing to Vitali Klitschko. Max Kellerman would go on to review the heavyweight division, and say that the way to become a heavyweight champion, the only way, is to beat one of the Klitschko Brothers. Wladimir or Vitali. He called David Haye only a title holder, not a real champion
Cintron was counted out, wrongly, by the ref, his corner got in the ring, the fight continued, and it ended in a draw. So Kellerman says, “He got knocked out.” Mayweahter’s corner came in the ring, and the fight continued. Zab Judah should have a win over Mayweather in his opinion, then, right? Fact is, is that it was a draw, and then, an upcoming HBO “product” Alfredo Angulo got an easy fight against Cintron. Cintron beat him. Yet, they keep showcasing Angulo on HBO against guys like Harry Joe Yorgey, while Cintron, who lost to one guy, in Margarito, (and it was right before Margarito stopped Cotto, but Cotto was a “product” of HBO, so of course, he must have had plaster in his gloves when he beat Cotto, not Cintron, so Cotto fights Pacquiao and Cintron gets nothing) Well, we saw what happened to Cotto against Pacquaio, and Jim Lampley said, “When will Cotto be great again?” Look at “other” HBO products.
In this war, when Showtime had Mike Tyson, and he lost to Danny Williams, HBO made comments, but they went on to show Evander Holyfield get beat by Larry Donald.

It was Pacquiao – Cotto, Cotto, at natural weight, a 147 pound boxer taking on a guy who started his career at 107 pounds. Pacquiao has now won titles from Flyweight to Welterweight, and in his last five fights he has beaten Marquez, David Diaz, De La Hoya, Ricky Hatton, and Miguel Cotto, stopping four of the five.
When the fight was nearing end, while Cotto blatantly “ran” from Pacquiao, Lampley said, “Will Cotto ever be great again?” Look at these guys Cotto was fighting… Pacquiao may be the jr. welterweight champ right now, but he only had one previous fight at welterweight, and he came from Flyweight. Clottey?
Right now Pacquiao is ranked number 1 pound for pound fighter. Marquez, De La Hoya, and Hatton. Pacquiao fought Marquez twice, first time, even though he knocked down Marquez three times in the first round, they fought to a draw. Mayweather easily beat Marquez. Pacquiao made De la Hoya quit after six rounds. Mayweather won by a split decision. Pacquiao KO’d Hatton in two rounds. Mayweather KO’d Hatton in ten. Trinidad – De La Hoya? All the great Welterweight fights. As for Cotto.
